The Club This club is aimed to bring the unbeatable and unique experience of Racehorse Ownership to all members. We have two Horses in training, Tagula Sands our four year old and a really nice un-tried two year old by Val Royal the Sire of the English and Irish 2000 Guineas Winner Cockney Rebel. Local Trainer Jimmy Fox, the former Hennessy Gold Cup and Mackeson Gold Cup winning jockey, turned trainer is a well known character throughout the racing game, with a joint career now spanning over 50 years Jimmy has enjoyed many great success both on the Flat and over Timber. Jimmy has been instrumental in the selection and purchase of our horses and Salisbury Racing Club has entrusted the care and training of them to Jimmy and his daughter Hannah, who are well supported by his small team in Wiltshire. Although Jimmy is not high ranking in the trainer’s league table, with all his horses he is a true horseman. He lives, eats, breathes and sleeps horses. His sharp eye and attention to every detail where his horses are concerned is second to none and this fact is as important to us as getting results. The horses aren’t pushed and made to work when they are not ready, he rides out several lots a day so he knows when they are ready to go on and because of this special relationship he builds, they are willing to try for him. Members  With only two hundred and fifty shares available the club is small enough for everyone to be personally involved and yet make for great days out Racing, Open days, Stable visits and watching our Horses on the Gallops. Each member will receive a welcome pack including Membership Certificate, Enamel 'Jockeys Style' Club Badge and Photo's of the Horses and get a share of all prize money won during their membership period These memberships make an ideal gift for any Racing enthusiast and membership can start on any date i.e. Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas etc. Prize Money 100% of all prize money will be returned to the club members on a pro rata basis as explained in the terms conditions. In accordance with Jockey Club rules it must be stressed that this must not be entered into as an investment opportunity and is primarily a leisure activity... which promises to be an excellent leisure activity! Owners & Trainers Badges Members will be entitled to a free Owners & Trainers badge on race days and will be able to take advantage of heavily discounted additional badges for their guests. Stable Visits Stable visits are organised every few months and held on Sundays, they provide great opportunity for members and their guests to socialise and meet the Horses close up, see the hard work that goes on behind the scenes before watching work on the Gallops. Then, for those that are interested we will have Sunday Lunch and a pint in our local Pub, the Shears Inn, where we will be joined by our Trainer Jimmy, his work Jockeys and staff.
